Background
Beazley underwrites a diverse book of insurance and reinsurance business for clients worldwide.
Beazley's business is divided into six operating divisions: Cyber & Executive Risk, Marine & Aviation, Political, Accident & Contingency (PAC), Property, Reinsurance and Specialty Lines. Beazley is a market leader in many of its chosen lines, which include professional indemnity, directors and officers, crime, healthcare, property, environmental liability, cyber liability, marine, reinsurance, accident and life, and political risks and contingency business.
Aim of the Program
Beazley are a global organisation and required a mentoring platform that could support their global mentoring programme.
The programme supports users at all levels of the organisation so Beazley required a solution that enabled employees to quickly access a user-friendly solution that did not detract from their employees day to day responsibilities.
To support ease of access and usability Beazley required a solution that integrated with their existing HR platforms.
Our Solution
PLD were able to offer Beazley a cost-effective solution to support their global peer to peer learning through mentoring.
PLD worked with Beazley to configure the mentoring platform to their needs, allowing users to offer and access skills and expertise across the Beazley network.
Beazley particularly liked the fact that mentors and mentees can manage their mentoring connections and relationship with very little intervention from admin, allowing admin to use the platform's reporting dashboard to highlight the success of the programme internally.
Results
The platform implementation went to plan and Beazley were able to launch their programme in August 2019. Since launch the use of the mentoring platform has continued to grow across Beazley.
